OverlayImproved

Smooth now keeps time with your footage and can go down to 1 second, so power, cadence and heart rate glide between readings instead of jumping once a second.

Two power gauges side by side: before, with Smooth off, the number jumps once a second; after, with Smooth on and Window at 1 s, it glides between readings

Power meters, cadence sensors and heart rate straps record one reading a second, so on a 30 or 60 fps video those numbers used to jump each second.

Select the value in a gauge, turn on Smooth under Data binding and set Window to 1 s. The number, and the arc, needle or bar with it, now glides from one reading to the next on every frame. A longer window also evens out GPS and sensor jitter.

Smooth now averages around the moment on screen rather than over the seconds before it, so a sprint shows up when it happens in your footage, not a few seconds later. Gauges that already used Smooth get this automatically.
