OverlayImproved

Overlays that work better for runners: pace gauges that fill as you speed up, cadence in steps per minute, and dials that fit your activity.

Three gauges from a run: a glowing pace of 5:21 per km with its bar, a cadence arc reading 171 spm, and a heart-rate bar with a flame at its tip
  • Pace is a full gauge metric. Arc, Dial, Ruler, Half circle, Bar, Icon row, Neon, Flame bar and Streak all work with it, and they fill as your pace gets faster. Set the Fastest and Slowest ends in minutes and seconds, or leave them: they fit your activity on their own.
  • Cadence reads in steps per minute. If your watch records it per leg (around 85), runs show it as steps per minute (around 170). New cadence gauges on a run are labelled spm, and cycling is left alone.
  • Power and Cadence dials fit your activity, the same way Speed does: a casual ride, a sprint, or a 185 spm run each fill the dial instead of sitting in the bottom of a fixed one. Set your own Max whenever you like.
